The ask

An insurer wanted roof conditions on eleven buildings

A property manager on the Plateau had an insurance renewal that needed the condition of eleven flat roofs. The scaffolding quote was three weeks and a lot of money.

The flight

One authorization, one morning, two people

We filed one authorization covering all eleven addresses and flew them in sequence from 7 a.m., a pilot and an observer, 310 photos in total.

The report

One report per building, in 48 hours

Each building got an annotated PDF with every issue located, photographed and rated. Three membranes needed urgent work, and the insurer accepted the reports as they were.

What we learned

Batch the addresses, save the lead time

Filing eleven addresses in one authorization saved a week of back and forth. If you manage several buildings, send the whole list at once.

“Eleven roofs before lunch. The scaffolding quote was for three weeks.
