Access

Tell us who opens the gate

The most common delay on an inspection day is access. One contact who can open gates, rooftops and parking, and who knows the site, saves more time than any piece of equipment we bring.

Airspace

Give us the address a week ahead

Most of Greater Montreal is controlled airspace. With the exact address we file the authorization with NAV CANADA, which usually takes two to five business days. Without it, the flight waits.

Hazards

Flag cranes, wires and antennas

Temporary cranes, guy wires and rooftop antennas are hard to see from the ground and dangerous from the air. A quick list from facilities lets us plan the flight path around them.

People

Keep the area clear for an hour

We fly over buildings, not people. For a roof inspection that means a short window where the area below is quiet. We coordinate the time with you so it fits a lunch break or a shift change.

Weather

Expect a weather call the day before

Rain, freezing drizzle or wind above 35 km/h grounds the aircraft. We confirm or reschedule the afternoon before, at no cost, so nobody waits around on a day we cannot fly.

Deliverables

Know what you want to see

An insurer wants an annotated report. An engineer wants a measurable map. A marketing team wants video. Say which one, and the flight is planned to capture exactly that.

“A good inspection is planned on the ground before anyone looks up.
